I'm not a fan of players not standing for the anthem, but I do believe it is an exercise of their right to free speech and therefore constitutionally protected.
What I want to know is how many of the people that get all bent out of shape about it are showing respect to the flag or national anthem while they're waiting in line for their beers or grabbing their hot dogs from the vendors.
A whole hell of a lot of hypocrisy over this issue in my opinion.

Just looking at those hits again, it's so weird how people don't tackle anymore. They just do their best bighorn ram impression. Do coaches actually teach youths on D to take down players that way, instead of your traditional, rugby style tackle? It's kinda crazy.
Teach people how to tackle, those "bighorn" hits are way too common, and so dangerous. The helmet is supposed to be for protection, but defenders use it as just another tackling mechanism.

Proper tackling doesn't cause turnovers like taking a swing with one arm, or the big battering ram hit can.
Defence in the NFL today is more about the splash plays to create turnovers. It's getting too tough to stop teams from piling up yardage.

I think Millers hit was clearly not intentional
Marshall and Stewart should be susupended
The refs let way too much go in that game. I think Sylvan said it during the game, I'm pretty sure Miller was held on every play

Never seen Vikings used as a verb before...is it a synonym for 'Oiler' (as in the propensity to vomit over oneself when in competition)?

Chargers are just mauling the Chiefs. Jax looking much better than GB.
Week 1 always has surprises.

Yeah Chiefs taking an epic beat down here. 4-12 here we come. No Justin Houston and Tama Hali is too beat up to get any pass rush.

Looks like Keenan Allen's season could be done. One of the years I'll learn my lesson taking him in my fantasy drafts.

If this is the team Chicago is going to send out on the field every week, they will be closer to battling for a wildcard spot than they will a bottom feeder.
Defense looks on point as does Cutler/Alshon

Brees to Cooks for a 98 yard TD pass. Man Cooks is fast, at first it looked like a completely overthrown ball but he caught up with it. 24-10
Saints passing game looking dynamic and they haven't even looked at Fleener yet.
