Request: please vote for ENDERBY, BC in Hockeyville
(Mods, please move if not appropriate in the Main Forum)
Enderby, BC is one of the finalists in Hockeyville and is not far from where I live..it's a poor community and the rink's aging ice plant gave up the ghost earlier this year, closing the rink, hopefully not for good. There's no money in the area for repairs .. so a request: please vote on March 29 and March 30 (I know...Cochrane yada yada lots of people and money) for this little centre of hockey love!

Enderby was a hick town and their teams were coached by absolute cement heads. Plus they had brutally biased home town officials. Screw that place. Wolsely Saskatchewan where there's nothing else to do should get the vote.

Yah - vote for the place that already has Spray Lakes with....THREE gorgeous arenas....and a swimming pool, gym etc vs...a poor town in BC that just lost its only winter entertainment. Mmmkay.

Kind of silly to have Cochrane in this, I'd categorize their hockey arena situation as elite in terms of towns. I'll vote for the town that lost their only rink.
edit: Unfortunately for taxbuster, he likely put his town further behind by bringing this up on CP, and the early results suggest just that.

Meh. I voted for Enderby. Why not?
It gets Ron McLean far away from Calgary, and, while I've only been to Enderby a couple times it seems like a pretty nice place.
And frankly, I just donated some money for a local kids Hockey Tournament here in Calgary because I think Kids have had a real rough go of things since COVID and it'd be nice to just get back into the normal swing of things.
So, if Enderby needs an arena? Come on Kraft! Make Enderby Great Again Kids Able to Play Hockey Again!
They'll build an arena and they'll make...Kraft? Pay for it? I guess? I dont really know how this generally works.

I used to live in Cochrane. They already have 3 other ice pads that are fantastic. Sure the old barn could use some love, but it's not the only ice they have.
I'm voting Enderby.
