Brayden Point with a real beauty for his 4th goal. Real shame the Flames passed on him.

Kucherov is nuts. Goal and assist so far both on the PP.

Is Niemi the worst goalie in the NHL? This is his third straight garbage start -- his GAA is almost 8.00 and he's already let in 6 tonight...

Panthers up 2-0 after 1 period over the Capitals. They played last night in South Florida against Pittsburgh and also had a 2-0 lead after 1, but the Pens stormed back to claim that one 4-3.

They're playing in Washington tonight for some reason on a back to back from home to road at quite a distance to travel. Not sure the reasoning for the schedule oddity, but I hope the Panthers can keep it up this time. They've lost 3 in a row and two of those were heartbreaking 1 goal losses to the Penguins.

And for you poolies: Huberdeau has 6 points in 6 games so far this year; and Bjugstad, Trocheck, Ekblad, Dadonov, and Vrbata all with 5 points in the same span. You might get some of these players cheap and they're performing quite well so far.

I'd be embarrassed as a Senators player/fan to be in that building. Complete Leafs atmosphere.

Missing half an ankle and yet Karlsson is still able to pick up 5 points in 2 and a half games.

Trocheck roofs it off the bar on a 5 on 3 power play. Caps taking some undisciplined penalties at the moment. All of the calls have been very obvious.

3-0 Panthers.

Sens fans should be happy that these Leaf fans, dumb and obnoxious as they are, are preventing another 13,500 crowd in Ottawa.

It is starting to look like that trade will be one of many that will haunt Montreal for a long time.

Also thanks Columbus for passing on Puljujarvi, if they hadn't Sergachev could be an Oiler right now.

E. Kane looks pretty good to start the season. There's been some talk that the Sabres could trade him. Can he play the right wing?
