I don't understand how a professional football coach can make a call to not run the ball there.

I pretty much lost every bet except a 3 way parlay

Cincy covered the 4.5 spread, Beckham scored a td, Aaron Donald got a sack. I bet 20 on that and won $140.

I doubt Donald gets the MVP which is my last bet outstanding.

On the one hand you can argue the Rams got very lucky on that strage holding call.

On the other hand, the OBJ injury was very unlucky for them and very nearly cost them the game.

In the end, I kind of think it balances out. Cincy's Oline was unable to protect Burrow when it mattered, and it cost them.

I've said it before, I said it when the Hawks tried to throw in the Superbowl giving another ring to Brady.

Coaches sometimes outsmart themselves. I get the call, the Bengals short yardage work wasn't great on the ground. He expected them to rush the box so he threw.

But like I said, sometimes you have to trust your team in the Superbowl to rise up when they need to.

Lame how the owner gets the trophy first.

No one does it better than the NHL.

Well, it wasn't a classic, but it was a solid exciting game, and more competitive then most thought it would be.

The Bengals will be back, but they really need to fix that oline.

I'm really happy for Stafford, I was a fan of his and always felt bad that he was playing in Detroit.

Donald likely done now.

Yup.

Have to admit I was very wrong about that. Didn’t think he was worth the cost to acquire him at this point of his career.

With more time to think I hate that third down holding call on the Bengals even more. All game you let them play pretty physical, and that's completely fine if you are consistent, but then on the play of the game you call a penalty on something you let go earlier. Maybe they would have converted fourth down anyway, but just hate seeing it just change like that on such a crucial play.

Well, thanks in part to Donald’s final play, I won $99 by betting $22 (4.5) that Rams would win by 1-6.

$22 was what I had in my Play Alberta balance.

A terrible call by refs on that third down supposed hold on the Bengals linebacker.
Should’ve been 4th down, then who knows what happens.

Have to watch the play that got the Bengals to 3rd and 1, thought it looked closer to a 1st down then the spot.

But you have to make that 3rd and 1, and then that failure to get the first down played into the hesitation to try and run again on 4th and 1.

Burrow is a great player, but I’d be surprised if Cincy gets anywhere near a Super Bowl again. This was their chance. Rams loaded up, and when you try and load up your team like they did with Beckham and Miller, eventually you’ll get some plays.
Ramsey was torched at least twice, highly overrated.

For sure. I know I had jokes about Brady losing to him but all season long there were so many bad Stafford hot takes. Guess sometimes moves work out. Von gets himself a second ring too, pretty cool for him.

Plus Cincy got away with the face mask on Ramsey.

Two things likely mentioned already

. Thought the bengals were classy not to belabour things by not calling the timeout at the end

. Halftime show was awesome - except for Kendrick Lamar. Thought Mary j crushed it
