Great news about the simpsons! it is painful in widescreen... even without missing jokes, the characters are painfully huge on screen. The biggest pull for me has been the biggest disappointment. Guess I’ll cancel for a few month until that’s complete.

That shouldn't necessarily exclude it from Disney+. Miracle on 34th Street is on tv every year and it's on Disney+ (plus many other tv staples such as The Sound of Music).
I thought it might be on CBC Gem, but it doesn't appear to be.

Tell that to the Cats trailers that #### is weird.
But I agree about it being normalized, look at the anthropomorphic characters from Disney and so on that are clearly sexualized from the get go, with hips, busts and lashes etcetera. We are programming kids from birth, furries should be no surprise.

have a non smart TV and for the life of me couldn't figure out how to get Disney+ set up to watch. have a bluray with wi-fi but had no success in mirroring our tablet to it. ended up having to run a hdmi cable from the laptop to the TV and using that.

Amazon Fire TV stick. They are going to be 1/2 price for black friday. Regular $50 for 1080p, $70 for 4k.
They are amazing, plug into your HDMI port in the TV and power. Then connect to your wifi and boom your 'dumb' TV becomes a smart TV. Runs all sorts of apps: Netflix, Crave, Prime, Disney +, Spotify, Plex, apple TV.
