I wonder how much the audience will drop off now that Game of Thrones is on.

Watched both tonight Hate that this show has everyone not afraid at all. It's called "fear the Walking Dead" and they all do stupid stuff and have no fear. The druggie Johnny Depp was the only good part, because he accidentally fell, but it was also frustrating because he should have been with his sister. Oh, everyone else is missing? Let me just leave my sister to walk in the same direction...

Hope that isn't the conclusion of the flight story line. I can't figure out why Strand is OK with bringing who he has, but won't even consider anyone else. I hope they have a good reason, not "just because". So far the writing has been really lazy.

Much better episode I thought. The crab walker guy was fantastic. Nick is once again the most interesting of the main characters. When he was covered in walker goo and growling I almost fell off my chair laughing.

Seams they have decided to make him the merciless killer. I hate the character, but last night was the first glimmer of hope that he wouldn't be totally lame.

For some reason the story telling in FTWD, feels a bit like lost, I am sure it is because of the flashbacks.

It took an interesting turn at the end of the show.

Seems like our group is going to be jumping in the deep end by storming Colin's house.


I will say that Nick is far and away the most interesting character in the show.

Strand background story is the most compelling part

For a show about zombies I'm not sure that's a good thing

So I watched it again last night, and everyone they come into contact with is left in shambles.

It's an okay show. I'll continue to tune in simply get my TWD universe fix. Definitely the last couple episodes were decent. But the overall timing of everything just seems off to me. Feels like they moved into human conflicts way too fast. Being that this is the start of the zombie apocalypse, I would have expected zombies to be an extremely large threat in both numbers and strength. Like shouldn't this group have been barely escaping massive zombie threats? Seems like they get away from most things relatively unscathed, having only lost an elderly mom and her nurse. Everything leading up to the army lockdown wasn't bad. But I feel like they would have better served escaping the army while being overrun by a herd, maybe escaping with a larger group, and having a number of those people lost to other zombie groups while fleeing to shore.

Piracy seems to have spawned quite quickly as well. You think things would need to get more desperate before these types of groups like Connor's group would show up.

I dunno I thought Fear was supposed to explore the dangers of the early parts of the zombie apocalypse rather than trying to jump ahead to TWD-type storytelling.

Why do shows STILL have to write in scenes you just know are going to end poorly and likely wouldn't happen in real life. Why would they leave him alone with that guy? Who would do that?

I had to stop watching that Kevin Bacon show (The Following) as they did this so many times each episode. It was just too frustrating and irritating to keep watching.

So do we star making bets on who gets killed off this season? We lost Chris's mom and old guy's wife already. Who is going in the finale? TWD seams to always have more characters to pick from. There are only, what, 8 maybe in this group?
