Default Garage Door Open Installer

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a garage door opener installer.

We just recently bought a house and it has a really old opener, older than the house. No sensors or even a place to wire them on. I've purchased a new opener that I want installed.

The cables were replaced this year and the brackets looks fine.

Any suggestions?

I have always used action doors for all of my garage door needs. Used them because they were the ones that did the original install when my shack was new.

One guy who has come out seems to be a real pro.

for some reason I think there is a CP'r out here who is a garage door guy

That was AndyL... he hasn't been around for a couple years. He had some life changes and I think he may have left town.

Too bad - he installed an opener for me and did a great job.

If it's just the opener and not the spring, doing it yourself is really easy. The last one I did took 2 hours

Elmer has helped me out a couple of times (most recently about six months ago) and I would not hesitate to use him again. He seems to be in high demand though.

Seconded. No need to pay a "pro" for this IMO.

Our opener quit working tonight. Very inconvenient timing, I don't have the time to figure out how to replace the motor etc with a new one. Any CP recommendations?

As above, Done Rite Doors did a great job for me. No affiliation other than recommendation from CP. Good price, great work, friendly guy.
