The Battle of Alberta tough guy power rankings
Did up a quick little thing on the tough guys on both sides in this year's Battle of Alberta playoff series.
I ranked the top five enforcers in the series before doing a little blow-by-blow rundown on some of the potential undercard fighters.
I don't think #1 and #2 on the list with come as any surprise.

The Flames easily have the bigger and tougher team in this series, IMO. Not close.

Umm Zadarov is a clear #2.
Not sure what is up with Godbradson in the playoffs though. He hasn't really leveled anyone other than Faksa. Hopefully he isn't injured.

Zadorov really doesn't fight all that much. He's a tough customer, sure, but he doesn't really have the fight card. Going through his hockeyfights.com page ... he also doesn't tend to win a ton of his fights.
I'd have him on par with Nurse, I think.

There are at least four Flames that can handle Kassian and Kane.

Ritchie probably should be ahead of Kane, but I think that's a close one.
1 & 2 are obvious

Zadorov is physical as hell, but not much of a fighter.

Backlund has been physical in these playoffs but he is anything but a tough guy in the sense of this article.

I never noticed Tkachuk's reaction from the bench before in that Lucic-Nurse fight. Pretty funny.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ritchie would emulsify the Keeper of the Code.

Big, strong guy.
But no where close to a clear #2 in the rankings.
Underwhelming fighter.

I suspect a lot of Oilers remember Ritchie and Khaira.

Ritchie could turn Kassians loosely connected brain tissue into mashed potatoes just like he did to Khaira
