Discuss.

I say Flames in 6.

Refs will give the Oilers 2 wins without even thinking. The rest will be all Flames effort.

Win or lose, I don't think I can survive watching a Playoff Battle of Alberta.

Flames in 5. No Oettinger to save the Oilers.

Flames showed what we can expect from them, but the Oilers have 2 giant wildcards. Will the good Mike Smith keep showing up? Will McDavid continue carrying the team on his back? If the answer is yes to both of those this series will probably go the distance, if they don't then the Flames should make short work of them

Sportsnet has announced the series will have Chris Cuthbert and Craig Simpson on the call.

Right now the Oilers are looking at Smith and saying he's no Oettinger.

Sutter versus basically a rookie coach.

Flames with a better blueline and goaltender and a better bottom 6. The Oilers have the suppossed top two players in this series, but lets be honest the Kings aren't even close to the Flames.

I think there will be a game where McDavid and Draisaitl get loose though Drai looks hurt. But in a long series I take the Sutter factor and depth every time.

I think the Oilers are about to walk into a hurricane, a sheer force of nature. A storm of Fire and Ice, and they're going to have no answers.

This felt a lot like the series against Vancouver in 1989, and it set the table for the Flames run.
