Stanton hits a Yankee stadium homer and Espinal misses a homerun by inches. Just seems to be the Jays luck lately.

We can talk about bad luck all we want till we're blue in the face. Moral victories mean jack squat. Jays have to make their own good luck.

And, you know what hurts about this loss even more?? Tampa is getting POUNDED by the Angels 12-0.
We gain nothing on the freaking Rays. NOTHING.

As I kinda thought, it didn't have everything to do with the HR, maybe some other stuff going on..turns out it seems to be the case, right or wrong...
From The Score:
Earlier in the game, there were some words exchanged by Donaldson and Toronto's catcher, so that definitely played into it," crew chief Alfonso Marquez said following the contest, according to Shi Davidi of Sportsnet. "There were pretty strong words. Then you have a game-tying home run ... It had nothing to do with (Donaldson's) reaction. It had everything to do with the game situations that led up to that specific incident."

I don't know much about the dimensions of Yankee Stadium, but as a laymen it seems like he crushed that homer??

Every other stadium in the league Hernandez catches a fly out and Jays still lead 3-0

Day off work today so actually get to watch Jays. Here is where they need to cash in runs and have a big inning. 1st inning and runners on 1st and 3rd nobody out

And in typical Jays fashion they only cash in 1 run.

Uh oh... multiple Guardians tested positive for Covid today leading to their game being cancelled... hope the Jays were able to dodge that

Chapman is not a productive hitter right now. He isn’t accomplishing anything at all…moving guys, walking, or even having extended at bats.

That Kirk play is a perfect encapsulation of the last couple of weeks of Blue Jays baseball.
Glad that Chapman was able to produce though.

Chapman fly out is a homerun in 17 of 30 ball parks. Torres homerun is a Homer in 6 of 30 ball parks

Just seems absolutely nothing is going the Jays way.
Anyways we need to score at least 6 runs, and I’m not gonna look at how many runs this team averages per game to remain blindly optimistic.
