Vlad was pretty darn close there! Nice throw by the As catcher.

Not bad 1 inning in and we have a bad time to try and steal and getting caught and an OF overthrowing the cutoff / going home

Great fundamental baseball boys !

No idea what Tapia was doing there, no chance to throw him out at home.

Ryu is just cooked. He's literally BP for the opposition. I'm glad Stripling looked good last night. Don't know how many games the Jays are gonna let Ryu pitch like this.

He’s not hitting his spots. When he misses his spots, he errs on the middle of the plate.

Here's a Montoyo thing, he should be all over these umps, even if he gets ejected. Breathe some fire into this team.

That ball was crushed. That was a BP pitch right there......slow and down the middle. Great stuff Ryu.

Typical Montoyo leaving struggling pitchers out too long.

As some point we need a starter to go 6 or our bullpen will be fried by the all star game

Montoyo can’t get blood out of a stone…the bullpen is tapped out.

Ryu needs to take a licking and keep on going. At this point, the game is out of control and we might as well rest our bullpen as much as possible.

Ryu might need to move to long relief.

Why is the bullpen tapped out? Maybe Stripling could have gone one more yesterday. But it's April 16th and it's a 15 man pitching staff!

Not really convinced the Jays have the pitching needed to contend for a title...

The bullpen is not tapped out, and the game is not out of control.

Some serious superlatives being flung around. I guess with expectations this sky high it’s gonna happen.

The bullpen is being managed carefully, with a short spring and a gruelling opening month schedule (1 day off) jays are being cautious.

Jays are down by 4, this is by no means out of control

Has anyone been paying attention to what’s happening on other teams, or just the jays echo chamber?

Every team is trying to figure their crap out right now…the short spring really messed things up. I don’t think people appreciate how big an impact that has had
