I thought they were great. It was easily the best concert I’ve seen in the last 2.5 years lol.

I’m not even a huge fan but am glad I went. They have a great live sound. Between the guitar effects and the nice grooves their music has, it’s hard not to get into the music.

Just got tickets to see Avatar @ The Palace July 24th. Will be my 3rd time seeing them, and first post-covid show! Pretty pumped for this one.

Is there a presale code for this one? I have seen Avatar twice and would love to see them again.

EDIT: Figured it out, got my ticket. #### yeah.

Damn, disappointed to see Matt Anderson at Folk Festival. I really wanted to catch him next time he was in Calgary, but folk fest isn't really my thing.

These acts join already announced artists such as guest curator Sudan Archives, Princess Nokia, Alex Cameron, SASAMI, Official: Lydia Lunch, PEARS - the band, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Pantayo, and many, many more.

Today’s announcement also includes Mint Records staple Necking, Big Rig, the new “twangmo” project from The Courtneys’ Jen Payne, head-turning alt-pop trio Little Destroyer, quirky art rock outfit Motherhood, Toronto-based garage punks Wine Lips, toe-tapping jangle-pop trio Motorists, alt-R&B electronic artist Janette King, jazz-tinged experimental rock group Heaven For Real, alternative singer-songwriter Marlaena Moore, and Montreal avant-pop artist Hélène Barbier.

I have Sigur Ros tickets for Monday.
Have been debating selling them and watching game 4, but considering how boring the series is, maybe I should go. Have seen them once before and it was incredible.
What would you do??

Sigur Ros definitely (but then I don't care for hockey) I'm so annoyed that they never come here, always seemingly Vancouver. Looked at tickets recently for the hell of it. $250 for regular seems really steep, but I haven't been to a concert in years.

Mine were $110, you might be seeing resale prices for people flipping.
Still not cheap though

Marcus King is playing The Palace tomorrow night, I'm giving up my ticket because I can't miss the Flames game but he is a badass blues/rock guitar player.
