Madrid losing out and la liga choosing to throw a tantrum are hilarious in the moment
This really is the most boring choice possible though, another 3 or 4 years where one of the best 5 players in the world plays like 6 games a year that matter
Why do you think he did it? Why do you think Messi chose to go there?
Sure it sucks for fans, kind of, I mean Real Madrid dont really play many more meaningful games especially in light of Barca being broke and Atleti being a joke.
But yeah, I'm with the Senator. Good for him. He gets to handpick his management and his teammates and he gets paid like royalty to do it and all the while he gets to live in Paris amongst family and friends and essentially be the King of his own little fiefdom.

here's a wacky one from the depths of European football. Bulgarian league, last game of the season. Tsarsko Selo, who are in danger of getting relegated, get a pen in injury time. A player gets ready to take it, but then the owner of the team storms onto the field, takes the ball and pushes him away, demanding that the captain takes it instead ... who then misses. Tsarsko Selo are relegated, and today they've announced that the club is folding altogether.

That’s fantastic.
I’ve heard stories that KHL owners would meddle like crazy, like tell players how to shoot glove side to score more goals
as for Mbappe, when he moved to PSG from Monaco they included a clause that PSG had to pay Monaco an additional €35m if Mbappe signs a new contract with PSG. Well, they're taking the bloody piss, unsurprisingly.
Sounds like Mbappe took a £34m payout from Real Madrid as the first part of a signing bonus, then changed his mind and now wants to pay it back. Makes way more sense why Real Madrid want to go to court now.
