Brady has been awesome. I hope this new endorsement deal means we see more of him!

I'm surprised and impressed how big his upper body is (shoulder, chest, back) as Matty doesn't see that big.

Maybe its just the tight shirt.

Walked past him on the way in to game 7 on Sunday, dude is large, much larger than I thought too.

Didn't Kucherov get one after his post-win rant?

Re-posting this quote here. Kids a star in the making:
Quote:
The 49-year-old Alfredsson served as the club’s captain from 1999 until he signed with the Detroit Red Wings for his final season in 2013-14. Nobody in this city has a better understanding of the pressure that goes with wearing the ‘C’ in a Canadian market and that’s why Tkachuk wanted to pick his brain.

“I thought it would be important for myself to just sit down and talk with him and get to know him just because of how influential he was in the community, for this city and for this fan base,” Tkachuk said. “I really wanted to get his opinion on certain things going (into being the captain). I thought it would be important for me to get to know him because he was such a great captain. Not only for this team, but league-wide he had so much respect. It was important to get his take on some things.”

This is exactly what is missing in the NHL. These brothers are fantastic.

Sure, he has plenty of time to get in shape for training camp but it was just something I was wondering about.
Beer isn't the worst recovery drink in the world...he could easily be throwing some weight around during the day - it's maybe even more likely he trains hard on the road as it can be a lot easier to talk yourself out of it with all the comforts/distractions at home.

Does anyone actually have a problem with Brady supporting the flames? I think it's just a media tagline myself.

That being said Brady is awesome and has earned a fan here! What a beauty!

Or its his young athlete metabolism and it can take a #### kicking. Plus he's drinkg what, maybe 6 talls a night? When we were kids 24 beer and a bottle of whiskey was a night out.

I don't think any reasonable people do.

He has been getting interviews and in most of them, he gets time to talk about the Sens and build hype for them as well. The fact anyone is talking about the Sens in a positive way during round 2 of the playoffs, should be seen as a good thing for that franchise. Brady has instantly made them a much more interesting team with a captain that seems approachable and fun to be around.

The Flames need a Brady Mascot. Like Pat Patriot in New England. 'Brady' of course will have beers in both hands.

Darren Haynes took some heat on Twitter because he called it “weird”, but was quick to clarify that he was in favour of it. A better word would have been “unusual”; Bieksa was bang on when he called it “unprecedented” — the fact is that this has never happened in the NHL before.

Even the staunch old school guys must know this is about family and not just Brady being young and foolhardy. It is 100% good for the game.

At the game tonight and could see the Tkachuk's. Every 5 mins you had people stopping and wanting a picture or autograph of Brady who is 6 seats in, or Keith on the isle.
Security had to constantly come down.

Leave the family the F alone.

if its not during play whats the problem? They are literally celebrities in this market and they know what comes with the family name/reputation.

If they were there to interact with the fans they'd have a table setup in the concourse and sign autographs there and take pictures. They are there to watch the game. It's just common courtesy.

The people didn't get any autographs or pictures/selfies anyways because security stopped it, as again it was a logistical nightmare with Brady half way down the row and most breaks nowhere near long enough for 2 or 3 people standing in the aisle, waiting.
