I was not a fan of the defense pairings when they split up Hanifin and Andersson, but I admit to being wrong - well half-wrong at least - on that, as Hanifin-Tanev has been great. And it isn't all on Tanev either, Hanifin has played really well.
Still not sure about Giordano-Andersson though. I liked Andersson on the second pair with Hanifin, because it freed him up to jump in the play. But him doing so now is exposing Gio's lack of speed.
I still think I prefer Giordano-Tanev, Hanifin-Andersson.
Regardless, Hanifin has been really good so far.
