That wasn't the case at all and I honestly can't remember a big save that Elliott made that made me think it was a bad breakdown.
They were definitely hemmed in for the third period...constant icing of the puck, long passes that were intercepted, no offense at all.

They didn't even allow a shot for like 10 mins

But they were still hemmed in their own end. Hardly any play in the Ducks end.

People keep going on about the penalties being 5-0 but there was all kinds of this stuff going on. The penalties could have been 25-2 and it still wouldn't have covered it all. The God damn ducks just continue to get away with this crap game in game out

Further more the NHL wants to ban fighting yet they allow the playoffs to become a complete gong show of goonery. It is so much that it takes the enjoyment right out of it. And I love a heavy rough and tough game, but this is not the same

Didn't Bennet have a really nasty hit on Bieska earlier?

Oh boohoo. Poor Kevin Bieksa got hit dirty. Cry me a river.

The amount of cross checks that are being dished by Kesler.. and the slashes by Bieksa.. the fact that they called that crosscheck with 2:30 left, after not calling those either way for the whole period and much of the game... wte.

The Ducks are a dirty team and dirt attracts dirt, don't feel bad for guys like Bieksa one bit. Dudes tough right?? He's an alpha, there all alpha's.

Just saying calls get missed for both teams. Lots of missed calls. Did you see the call in the Boston game yesterday? Seems kind of lame to be using the victim card when you had a powerplay advantage of 5-0.

And Ducks are dirty but Flames aren't angels themselves. You guys have a name across the league now for being dirty.

Bennett hit Bieksa after, possibly in response to this elbow.

But yes, if you read my post again I'm not saying the refs did a bad job. Hard to argue that considering the 5-0 PP advantage.

But it's interesting the standard changed from game 2 to 3 regarding late shots to players already on the ice.

Oh man how I love that both oiler and leaf fans have all found a wooden stool to stand on after all those years of standing in stools. Please continue to come here and bestow upon us your grand virtues. Or just piss off, that would work too.

One positive: if the Flames lose tomorrow, it'll be the last time they'll ever wear those god-awful jerseys.
