Some good defending by both teams. Can't say that I'm a fan of the lightning going after Zary, I guess it is to be expected as he makes a name for himself.

I think that people would be pretty excited about the Flames in year 4 of a rebuild. In 2017, we had Gaudreau, Monahan, Bennett, Tkachuk, Hamilton, Giordano, Brodie, even old man Jagr!

It's still early, but I'm really liking that Toffoli deal already. Sharky is really coming along and has some potential. Throw in a draft pick and a deal like that for a UFA is pretty solid.

Zary with a nice setup for Coleman there. Zary brings playmaking. The Flames don’t have a lot of playmakers at Zary’s level.

Zary didn't look as good in the AHL last year. Whatever he worked on this summer really paid off, love the confidence to make plays.

Yeah, his production in the AHL and in the NHL have both been great this year, relatively speaking. Just goes to show that development is not linear.
