God I can't stand that. I have trouble hearing in one ear and absolutely cannot hear two things at once, like listening to music and talking to someone and the same time is impossible for me.

According to some guy on reddit, yes it is on purpose. He does it so often I just believed it but I do not have a source.
I really good example of sound mixing with intentionally hard to hear audio is the opening scene of the Social Network in the pub.
IIRC Fincher intentionally had the music and bar noise loud to increase frustration in the audience to mirror the tension of the discussion between the two people on screen. He wanted to establish that Zuckerberg was this mile a minute talker whose mind buzzes from idea to idea and so the scene was intentionally made to feel a bit claustrophobic, fast moving and hard to follow.
But the rest of that movie the audio is mixed perfectly. Nolan seems to do that all the damn time though and in movies as confusing as his, it is super annoying.
Lol there are so many bizarre visual choices in the film. I guess this is what happens when Snyder doesn't have a studio reign it in and is his own Director of Photography.
At least half of the movie feels like you're squinting at the TV because of the excruciating overuse of Depth of Field effects.
Snyder used the Canon f/0.95 lens because he feels he's Kubrick all of a sudden I guess. That's why the depth of field is so shallow and it somehow affected the post-processing and caused the "dead pixels".

Wrath of Man was great. Maybe even Guy Ritchies best to date.
Had that Micheal Mann Heat level of grit to it. Seeing as Heat is one of my top 5 all time movies, thats a compliment.
Highly recommend.
Heat is the best modern crime movie of all time. If Heat is a 10/10, this is a 6/10.
This was entertaining but the dialogue is sooooo bad. Cliche after cliche after cliche. It had a great framework for a crime/heist/revenge movie but it really felt low budget.

I wish it hadn't taken me so long to see that one after it came out, I saw it for the first time only a couple years ago. Great, great movie. I absolutely love the scene that the 'Mark Baum' character has with the 'CDO Manager'.

Wrath of man was fantastic. Best movie I’ve seen in a while.
I thought it was terrible. I felt there was something weird with the dialogue and the way they said their lines. Also, so many bad accents. Maybe I was expecting too much.

My expectations were definitely too high. I thought it was Ritchie’s worst movie. Granted I haven’t seen Swept Away.
Start with a foundation of Moulin Rouge, 17 other random genres against the backdrop of a Quasi period piece and you have Cruella. It was enjoyable but utterly predictable I recommend.

Probably in my top 3 favorite movies. The whole cast is spectacular and the writing/direction is top tier. I think it'll be looked at as a classic.
