The fact he’s a top tier coach is basically my point. When he took the Habs and Canucks jobs he wasn’t, so he took whatever he could get. After that, he had options, whatever the reasons might be. Saying “of course he’d coach in Canada because he’s from Quebec and took other jobs in Canada” is assuming a lot and there’s evidence to suggest he might prefer other places.

Lowe has zero success as a coach or manager so that is a terrible comparison. Decades lol...Sutter won a cup in 2014. He is a more decorated coach than 3 playoff appearance Gallant and there is no argument.
