Now this is trolling that I can get behind! Hilarious and effective.

I enjoy the comments from the one guy:

Quit Trolling it's not worth it This just goes to show people how stupid yall really are who cares if u get it too 10 trillion dollars it will still go to the highest real bid you jerk offs lmmfao just goes to show you how much you trolls don't understand real life and ur so consumed by the world wide Web instead of what's really taking place in the real world take the horse blinders off guys it's all a waste of time putting in bids that are complete bull#### and don't hold water

Quit Trolling it's not worth it And this is also another tactic get everyone hooked on technology so that u won't be able to think and do for urself without a machine telling u how and when to do it I bet 90% of yall probably don't even know how to function with out ur phones or computers or if u didn't have Google maps telling you how to get somewhere that's what really is going to be the true down fall of society but yall are to dumb to realize ... also to I bet yall don't even know that the media is all scripted because yall are so glued to phones and computers to actually realize it smmfh one day yall are all going to be screwed and big brother and big sister are going to be laughing in the end

Quit Trolling it's not worth it A bunch of wasted energy I mean a bunch all that energy that is being spent making bid's could actually go to something useful like doing something productive in society like trying to figure out how to start a business or actually talking to young people and getting them to stop killing each other and ending up in the government system cause every time someone goes to jail or prison ur making them stronger that's how they get their federal grants from the government making arrests man open yalls eyes and see the bigger picture before they get much stronger they fool yall with all the bull#### hype in the media and taking something so small and turning it into a huge deals have yall ever herd of divide and conquer that is what they are doing is trying to keep racism alive so they can keep us all divided so they can control us better and easier don't yall see this happening

Operation Christmas Child volunteer sacked over same-sex marriage, abortion beliefs

Quote:
A woman's 17-year-long dedication to filling Christmas shoe boxes for underprivileged kids has ended in disappointment in Burgeo, N.L., after she was denied a volunteer position because of her personal beliefs.

This is pretty surprising and very disappointing.

CBC asked Samaritan's Purse for a response to the incident, and the group replied by saying it has specific beliefs that it wants volunteers to hold if they are to represent the group.

"We included these specifics in our statement of faith NOT because our views on these issues have changed, but simply because the world's views has changed to the point where we felt the need to remind our volunteers that our organization accepts the Bible as the inspired and infallible word of God," the statement read.

"The Bible does not condone sex outside marriage, it defines marriage as being between one man and one woman, and it upholds the sanctity of life."

The statement goes on to say that the group does not require people donating to the shoe box campaign to sign a statement of faith, but that it would be unfair to have year-round volunteers who do not share the Samaritan's Purse values.
so I guess I can cross them off the donation list.

Well, I volunteered at Samaritans purse last year, and have done the boxes since I was a kid.

Too bad the opinions of idiots are going to cause children in need to go without.

It appears she can still volunteer, but she can't be in a "Leadership" role.

So you can remain a box filling monkey.

Disappointing, yes, but it shouldn't be surprising to anyone who is familiar with Operation Christmas Child. They've always been an evangelical organization, and they add Bibles and other Christian missionary "gifts" to the shoeboxes the kids put together.

They don't add bibles or "missionary gifts" to the shoeboxes.

They do edit certain things out of the boxes (toy guns for example) and/or add to the boxes if they aren't full.

Boxes are usually distributed to children through local churches in the places they are distributed.

Disappointing, sure. Not surprising in the slightest though. They follow the word of the bible. Except for the bits about tatoos, rape, and slaves I suppose.

Or shellfish.

I took the wife to Hedley on Friday. At one point they call a bunch of people up to the stage. 5 or 6 16-21 year old girls run up and proceed to start texting on their phones, while on stage dancing. FML these kids are ######ed.
