Yakuza 0 is fun. Can get a little repetitive after a while, but it's a good one for when your brain just doesn't give a crap and you want to beat the #### out of a bunch of people.

They did add one card that if you have that card in your deck, it transforms your deck into one of a selection of pre-built decks, some of which are actually pretty decent and have decent cards, but of course it's random so you don't know what you're going to get until the first turn. I played that deck to get through almost all the single player content.

I don't mind spending a bit of cash, but not sure what's the best investment of time or money. Just play Arena to build up cards and hopefully dust? Buy packs and dust everything except the one deck I want to play and then try and climb the ladder?

I've been playing for about 2 years now, I find arena stresses me out and I play for the fun of it so that is a waste of time. I can usually save up around 8000-9000 gold between expansions and that gives you enough packs to make competitive decks.

I have a free to play account and an account I spent money on (specials mostly) probably put in about $150 total over 2 years. My free to play account is as fun to play as my main account since I focus on different cards for each account.

I usually do my dailies while watching tv with the wife, then I get my gaming in and still spending "quality time"

Not sure how I feel about Slay the Spire on the Switch only because I've become very used to using the mouse to control things quickly. Would you use the touchscreen I guess?

Wasn't the discount only 10% or something? Great for last second impulse purchases I guess.

Was 20% then 10. With how it's been almost exactly a year since the reduction, wonder if it's always been a little hook to get attention to their online catalog for games and ease of preorder rather than it being about the price.

That's lame.

Glad I got in my pre-order of Megaman 11 before it ended!

I can see what you mean by being stressed out for Arena, I mean I get that you spend the same amount as you'd spend on a pack if you're paying real money to play it, but still I feel it feels bad getting only 1 or 2 wins, and I'm not good enough to consistently win 4 yet.

I really like the older single player stuff, I wish they hadn't change their formula. Playing through the expansion single player and getting some cards out of it was good! They just want to get more $$ I guess.

I dusted a few of my wild legendaries that I figured I'd never need and crafted Whizbang, the decks are kind of all over the place, but some of them are pretty decent, and it lets me play with decent cards and a deck that has a point and a goal, I guess maybe I'll just play standard with that and see how far I can get, play the single player stuff, and the tavern brawls (I usually enjoy them, even the ones that are totally RNG it's still fun).

The 10% discount wasn't worth dealing with Intelcom's incompetence anyway.

The Vita was supposed to be the device that took the good indy games from the psn and allowed you to play them on the go. It did an admirable job, but man is the Switch picking up the slack now that Vita is dying. I'm not too big on the main console exclusives just yet, but their library of smaller games is killer.

I've been slowing working my way through my ever increasing backlog of games.

Banner Saga 3 was great. I still love the art style and music in these games and I think the third chapter closed the series off nicely. The ending could have been longer but the journey was certainly great. Looking forward to replaying the series again from the beginning.

I got A Hat in Time in a Humble Monthly. It's a fantastic game that I had originally written off for some reason. Aside from the second world I absolutely loved this game. It was adorable and just a lot of fun. Not very difficult but the developer just announced some DLC and a harder difficulty. The platforming was great and I had a hard time putting this one down.

Working my way through Yooka-Laylee right now. To be honest, I am having a difficult time getting into it. I loved Banjo-Kazooie but Yooka-Laylee just isn't as fun. Or at least, it isn't as fun as I remember Banjo-Kazooie being. It feels punishingly difficult and I find the platforming frustrating as hell. The voices are annoying and the dialogue is dumb. The fact that I have to sit through cutscenes repeatedly is a little infuriating.

An old game I had been interested in for a long time but never got around to playing was LA Noire. Loved it. We need more detective games.

So I dont play Fortnite, but my 9 year old son does. He asked if he could give me $15 and buy $15 worth of 'v bucks', I said sure.

Fast forward a week and I see 15 transactions on my Visa all for $15 for Microsoft Xbox. Long story short, I was very impressed with Xbox. They refunded me the amount in dispute and urged me to add a passkey for making purchases.

Just thought it was kinda funny.
