I agree. Lame challenges and hardly any international travel has meant a disappointing season for me.

Tonight should be a good one. Lots of tears and frustration in the promo.

PEI was good to the Alberta teams. From last to first, with a Speed Bump for the Barrel Racers (even with some minor drama); second place for the First Responders; and saved at the mat for the Football Coaches.
What an awful way to go out for the cheerleaders. I wonder what the penalty would have been if Leanne had just sat in the corner while Mar went alone to find the clue? I assume it would have been less than 2 hours.
If they ever do an All-Star season, you'd have to think Leanne & Mar will be one of the first calls.
- Nancy & Mellisa
- Courtney & Adam
- Taylor & Courtney
- Martina & Phil
- Dylan & Kwame
- Leanne & Mar
- Zainab & Monica
- Todd & Anna
- Joseph & Akash
- Chewy & Happy
- Fuzz: Chewy & Happy / Martina & Phil
- topfiverecords: Joseph & Akash / Todd & Anna
- Amethyst: Courtney & Adam / Leanne & Mar
- Otto-matic: Taylor & Courtney / Joseph & Akash
- Weitz: Leanne & Mar / Zainab & Monica
- GoinAllTheWay: Dylan & Kwame / Nancy & Mellisa
- EldrickOnIce: Nancy & Mellisa / Dylan & Kwame
- KevanGuy: Martina & Phil / Taylor & Courtney
- bigtmac19: Todd & Anna / Courtney & Adam
- getbak: Zainab & Monica / Chewy & Happy
Next week, we say "Adios" to Canada and "Hola" to Mexico City.

I believe it's in the rules somewhere that this isn't allowed. Don't remember where I read that. But the teams both have to take part in some form.

It looked like they were tethered together too.

Sometimes it did and sometimes it didn't.
If they had split up, there definitely would have been a penalty for completing the task incorrectly, but those penalties aren't usually near as harsh as the penalty for not completing the task at all.

The haircutting was a really weak Speed Bump.
Guess it was a good opportunity to put an emotional feel-good spin on it with the cancer aspect.
Its amazing how Dylan and Kwame are still in it.

Finally got a chance to watch this one! Sad to see Leanne and Mar go, but you can't take that penalty at that time. I would think the penalty would be the same for only one person doing the task, as it would be deemed they didn't complete it.
I like all the teams left, except Nancy and Melissa. They bug me for some reason.

Ha I'm confident this is the last week for Dylan and Kwame... but I've been saying that for a while now. So even though both are long shots, I am still hoping I somehow get a couple teams into the finale

Tsktsk girls. Dumb way to lose the game. If it is that crippling of a condition they should not have been on the show in the first place. It's like being on survivor without knowing how to swim.

"Dos cervezas por favor." -- The only Spanish every Canadian knows.
Nancy & Mellisa's cab driver to the mat must have been horrible. They left the final challenge solidly in 3rd place and ended up losing.

One more leg until the finale. Next week, back to Canada and a trip to Fredericton, NB.
Who will be the final three?

Dylan & Kwame finally had a solid leg. Good to see them win one.
Courtney & Taylor should be locks, Dylan & Kwame are my other ones.
I'm flip flopping between Martina & Phil / Courtney & Adam
Martina & Phil are beasts at challenges - it wouldn't surprise me to see them make it as well. They seem to just power through and get er done. My only concern is a foot race if it comes down to it.
I'm torn because I do like Courtney & Adam but they just seem to suck at navigation which most likely will happen in the next leg. They also get extremely flustered when things start to go sideways.
Sad this season is already coming to an end. While it wasn't my favorite its still my go to TV show for the summer outside of Masterchef Australia.

Finally a more physical challenge that my boys could excel at! I love Dylan and Kwame. Looks like next week will give them more opportunity with physicality again. They will never win this race but I hope they make the finale.
Martina continues to surprise / impress. I wrote her off from the start and she proves me wrong every week.
Nancy and Melissa should have made it through, but not too sad to see them go.
Courtney and Adam battle against elimination every week. This has toughened them, I think, but time for them to go.

Whew, that was close! I was tired of Nancy and Melissa (and of course have Adam and Courtney on my team) so I was glad to see them go. If they hadn't found that lady (Mary?) to lead them around the market, they wouldn't have been in the race at all.

The teams return to Canada for the leg that determines the final three. It all basically comes down to the wheelchair basketball faceoff, which went to sudden death OT.
Two teams from Alberta to the finale. Two teams with someone named Courtney to the finale. Martina & Phil made it further than I expected them to.
- Taylor & Courtney
- Dylan & Kwame
- Courtney & Adam
- Martina & Phil
- Nancy & Mellisa
- Leanne & Mar
- Zainab & Monica
- Todd & Anna
- Joseph & Akash
- Chewy & Happy
- Fuzz: Chewy & Happy / Martina & Phil
- topfiverecords: Joseph & Akash / Todd & Anna
- Amethyst: Courtney & Adam / Leanne & Mar
- Otto-matic: Taylor & Courtney / Joseph & Akash
- Weitz: Leanne & Mar / Zainab & Monica
- GoinAllTheWay: Dylan & Kwame / Nancy & Mellisa
- EldrickOnIce: Nancy & Mellisa / Dylan & Kwame
- KevanGuy: Martina & Phil / Taylor & Courtney
- bigtmac19: Todd & Anna / Courtney & Adam
- getbak: Zainab & Monica / Chewy & Happy
Next week: Home turf advantage for Adam & Courtney. Two teams from Alberta and a team from BC fight it out in Banff.

That helicopter task really set them back and it looked like Phil was feeling the effects of it during the faceoff.

Had to laugh at Martina. Every attempt at landing she'd be screaming "WE DID IT!! WE DID IT!!!!" while skidding across the rooftop. It aint over until you aren't moving anymore!
