Risky in net, maybe... but 4 solid lines... deep, if unspectacular on the blueline.
All in all, one of the better teams drafted, IMO... well obviously, my favorite

Well thats it. We did it! Thanks to Hockey, Cheerio and PlayfulGenius for organizing all of this. I knew we could finish it. Its a shame that a lot of people dropped out though.

It was great fun guys, thanks everyone who stayed active. Can't wait for the Avs to win the sim!
On a side note, we could take a poll of all the active GM's and see who everyone thinks has drafted the best team?
PS: Eager was drafted, I tried to pick him earlier

Little did I know that I would draft a 4th line stronger (was originally Spaling-Boyle-Ward) than my 3rd line. I really do regret picking Dustin Penner however, should have taken Ryan Smyth instead. Oh well. When you have Blake Wheeler on your 4th line you know you have some solid depth.
And was never expecting to draft as many right-handed D-men as I did (Seabrook, Sauer, Larsson and Boychuk). Oh well. The more the merrier I guess eh?

Sounds good.
I started updating the rosters on mine anyways. We could maybe do both and compare the 2. I was also thinking that I'd take screen shots of each persons player stats pages.

Any chance for a re-sim?
New Jersey must have had Lidstrom, Henrik Sedin and Rinne injured, otherwise it doesn't make sense that they finished so far down in the standings.
Oh well.... I thought I built a good team. The sim isn't fool-proof I guess

I don't think any of the teams were bad. I'll resim after I do the playoffs and let you know where you finish
Remember it's only one sim, and the NHL games give... Odd results sometimes.
If I could sim 1000 times like EA can, I would
