This team has been horrible at moving past bad goals. The team lets goals that go against momentum really get to them. Sounded like a good first 20+ minutes until Vegas scores and then they just give up.
Today's a game that really shows how much the team misses Tkachuk. Although I don't think Tkachuk would go after Reeves after the hit on Brodie I do think he would have made things more feisty and uncomfortable for the Knights all game long.

Having finally had the opportunity to watch the flames play live for the first time in a while, I now fully understand the anger and frustration that flows through CP after each game. How can you have so many shots and not score a goal, how can you fold so easily after 1 goal and let the other team rack up 4 goals in 9 minutes, how can you fail to create any significant chances in a third period when you are down by 4 goals?
I am an optomistic person but dear god this team needs some sort of divine intervention if they want to improve. Just so many bone headed decisions and that is on the players but in addition every time they got the puck on the half wall in their own end they just flip it to centre ice and give it straight back the LV, that is the GG system, so a lot of blame to go around for everyone for this mess.

Usually not one to jump on callling the team embarrassing, but that was about as close to the saddest effort I have seen out of the Flames since I’ve been a fan. The team gets scored on, and immediately gives up.
Why anyone would want playoffs this year is beyond me. We need to fix the foundation before we can build the house
