That's interesting. How many 2013 flames picks have played at least 1 nhl game now? Obviously Monahan. Poirier has had a few. Did Klimchuk get a late season cameo at some point? And has Kanzig had a game in Carolina yet? Roy, Harrison, Rafikov and Gilmour are the others. I'm still holding out hope for Poirier and Klimchuk, but 5 years on that isn't a great draft class.

That said, I'll take Monahan and a bunch of busts any day of the week.

To answer my own questions:

Gilmour is the third Flames' 2013 pick to play in the NHL after Monahan and Poirier. Kanzig has not even cracked Carolina's AHL squad this year.
