Ya, it's pretty incredible. Dark history you really need to see, too, if you want to understand the country. Here's a quick selection from my trip, the mechanical thing is the boat controls. If you are wondering why they broke down...I'm surprised only one did.
EDIT:
Well imgur is being garbage today...maybe the link will work later.
Well poop. Yes it's a game, but I don't get the not going after strong teams. Especially when they are gunning for you. Or if you are going to do the team that you did, toss in another team as well. Double your chances of slowing down a team. That's where Diangelo made no sense. If they U-Turned someone else then 2 teams would've been behind them and not the one.

Yeah I don't get it. Why go to the finale with two strong teams?
Because being on a reality show nowadays isn't about winning, it's about getting social media followers so you can build a brand or whatever. To that end it's most advantageous just to get to the end and be on the show as long as possible.
Not just 2 strong teams. I'd U-Turn another team just so that I guaranteed I had 2 teams behind me. Slow down as many teams as possible
The beards should have done nothing. Let the brother-sister U-turn one of the others teams, no blood on their hands. And its not much of an alliance anyways since nobody helped anybody at the roadblock. It's just an alliance of likeability which sucks.
DeAngelo and Gary made the right move U-Turning the last placed team they saw cause the other two teams could have been long gone. It would have made for great tv if they had U-turned the beards right in front of them.

This week, the teams travel to Manilla and the Alliance finally does something more than talk about how awesome their alliance is.
I was expecting something like this to happen in the penultimate leg because they've spent so much time talking about the alliance this season, there had to finally be a pay-off. However, Hung & Chee were so far back that it seemed like the producers were pulling a swerve on us --- but then they didn't.
DeAngelo was piiiiiiiissed at the end. I don't know how much he made in his career, but he played 11 seasons in the NFL, so half a million isn't going to change his life.
Those sorts of memory challenges are usually done with the teams separated. I wonder how it would have played out if that had been the case here? According to what they showed, Gary & DeAngelo were 1-away twice on their guesses, but they had no way of knowing that.
Riley & Maddison
Will & James
Hung & Chee
Gary & DeAngelo
Eswar & Aparna
Kaylynn & Haley
Leo & Alana
Michelle & Victoria

WhiteTiger: Hung & Chee / Kaylynn & Haley
savardandjokinen: Gary & Deangelo / Michelle & Victoria
surferguy: Jerry & Frank / Frank & Jerry

Cheese: Will & James / Eswar & Aparna
getbak: Kellie & LaVonne / Gary & DeAngelo
Fuzz: Leo & Alana / Nathan & Cody
Weitz: Kaylynn & Haley / Riley & Maddison
bigtmac19: Michelle & Victoria / Hung & Chee
Next week, the teams travel to New Orleans for the finale.
I hope Hung & Chee win.

Turn up the good, turn down the suck!
This is probably the worst season I ever watched. Will and James are generally horrible people, Deangelo wouldn't know respect if it sacked him on the 1 yard line(sorry, I don't know football), and the beards have screwed Hung and Che out of several first places, including tonight, and Hung and Che just let them get away with it!
That, and until the last challenge, everything was just going through motions. Zero challenge. A reflection of the season. Not surprised they sat on this of so long.
And for #### sakes, will someone read the goddamn clue. Man alive.
That was not an interesting leg. Kind of boring, though I thought I was screwed when their taxi dropped Hung & Chee off at the wrong location.
I can't really explain how frustrated I am with folks not reading the damn clue. Or actually, really reading it, since we heard everyone actually read it, but not have the words sink in. They spent forever at the band case challenge. Which I grant, I would have been screwed on, too.
I'm hoping that Hung & Chee win, though it looks like it's the Beard Bro's game to lose.
Also...damn, some seriously sour grapes on DeAngelo there. I knew he likely didn't "need" the money, but to be so sour to the experience of it all...what an @$$. The things they do in the places they go are a once in a lifetime experience.
I'm glad I've seen previous seasons of this show, 'cause if this was my first experience to it, it'd likely be my last.

Career earning in the NFL of $46.2 million. So he is likely set for life but I doubt he has much left. Probably just uber competitive.
But on another note I have the last 3 episodes PVR'd and just can't bring myself to watch them. No interest.
This is easily the worst season in the show's run. I would like to see some actual competition come out of this. As sour as DeAngelo was, he was the first one looking to try and get help from others. If I was the footballer's I would've just stuck close to one of the teams and not allowed the others to tell them the answer
The producers should have whispered the correct answer to the NFLers. It would have been pretty epic if they got 1st yesterday and the 3 alliance teams have to fight it out for2 spots.
