Cute how this team thinks they can just coast so much. Crap starts to most games, no shows for full on periods.
It sure feels like they remember that were some great western leading regular season team and not the joke of a ass whooping they got during the playoffs.

True, but that doesn’t lessen the fact that Backlund has been the worst of our top 5 forwards by a good amount. He plays an important role, and needs to be a lot better.

Someone really needs to do something about the terrible officiating. Even if you think they are making the right calls and consistently, firstly id argue you are flat out wrong, but more importantly is there should not 25 minutes of penalty minutes per game, that is ridiculous.

I dunno man maybe I'm off base but if you watch the end of that sequence tkachuk kind of Manthaed him. Doughty was pinned and it looked to me like tkachuk got in a couple hard shots to the face.

Looked to me like Doughty, for the second game in a row, can laugh all the way to the win column and all tkachuk can do is get rocked, then hold onto Doughtys leg and then get kicked out of the game while Doughty laughs.
What does Tkachuk have to be proud of tonight? Anything? One shift? One play?
No. Nothing.
