And sadly UEFA just gave Champions League rights to EA, which probably means the death of PES. I never got into PES, but I appreciated that there was competition.

I personally would love to see EA crash. From strictly a gamer and consumer's point of view I don't think they have been very good for the industry.

Monster Hunter World is the most confusing, intricate game I’ve ever played. I’m gonna have to put 50 hours into this thing just to figure out what everything means. The amount of upgrading, coordinating, various items/food/armor/everything is endless and totally overwhelming.

Fortnite is crazy.
They have a massive outdoor tent set up at PAX. Tournament for $1,500,000 USD is up for grabs.
We went to check it out, free food, drinks, desert to anybody and everybody who wanted anything.

Also Rebel Galaxy Outlaw gameplay looks great. Reminds me of old school Wing Commander or Privateer.

Fortnite is fun to play but it's crazy how how this genre of 1st person war shooting games has dominated the globe.
I enjoyed CoD much better than Fortnite because of gameplay options. Is it because of the Free to Play option or more being better available on mobile devices?

I'd say it's a combination of piggybacking on the popularity of PUBG, being free, and having the option of destroying/building structures.
Plus Epic has invested a lot more into the game with some pretty major updates, including new weapons and changes to the environment. Never mind the dozens of skins.

All of what you listed is the reason i love it so much, lol. You are right though, it is confusing at first but i suggest watching just a few beginner tip videos on YouTube and you'll be placed on the right path. Just think, this is a game that allows you to play it whatever way you want and then with fourteen weapon types to choose from, it will never get boring or paint by numbers like Destiny has, lol.

I just finished Far Cry 5 and my feelings are mixed. The gameplay is as good as ever and there are some solid improvements but I felt the game still needed some work to fix bugs and improve the story.
The open world is brilliant and I really enjoyed how the settings and music created a sense of realism and immersion. I also liked how exploration was more organic with NPCs and side missions that were actually interesting.
Unfortunately the main story lets the game down with too many linear sections that don't mesh with the changed exploration. It was super annoying having a great time running around doing side missions only to get taken away to some boring repetitive on the rails section. Even the ending left me a little unsatisfied. It was fun to play but the story did not do a good job setting up the twist.

Excited to try Two Point Hospital. Was a big fan of Theme Hospital back in the day and 2007's hospital tycoon was very disappointing. Reviews look good so far though

From the reviews, the part I'm most excited/surprised to hear is that the story is actually quite good.
Otherwise, about as expected. Sky high presentation values, tight controls with good combat, great missions and characters, but side-missions get very "open-worldy" and repetitive as you go along. Sounds like a good buy (plus I have a $50 preorder from Amazon!)

Playing Divinity Original Sin II on Xbox One X and it's fantastic so far. They did a pretty good job porting this to consoles.

I was going back and forth between Dragon Quest and Spiderman and ended up ordering Dragon Quest instead. At the prices we're seeing, the days of buying several games is a thing of the past for me.
