Biggest problem right now isn't even nerves, it's how badly they are getting killed on the glass. Can't win many games if you get outrebounded 2-1

Yeah the rebounding and the 3's are killing them. Among other things.

I’m curious how often the semifinals are closer games than the finals are.

Not just in basketball, but in all sports. Seems like it is pretty common in football (Super Bowl is a blowout, but the conference championship game was close), but any other sports?

Regardless, CBS execs are probably hating this game right now, as I’m sure many viewers are thinking of switching channels to watch Hemingway on PBS at halftime. I know that I am.

To be fair this was a garbage matchup from a ratings standpoint anyway, the fifth biggest university in Texas against an Eastern Washington midmajor isn't exactly North Carolina and Kentucky. But as piss poor as Gonzaga has been if they can get this to 10 or less by half then all things considered they are in decent shape.

Yeah if they can get to 10 or less at the half then it will be a major victory considering how bad they've looked, and how good Baylor is playing.

Wow. They got it to 10.

I'm actually amazed.

You know you played bad in the first half when you're excited to be down 10, but that felt like one way traffic most of the half so now with the full pressure on Baylor to avoid the collapse we shall see how they handle it.

Everything Baylor touches is going in.

Hoping for Gonzaga to win, but they’ve got a hill to climb.

Let’s go Bears. I think they can build on this lead, little nervous about the foul trouble on all their big men.

10 points is definitely a difference that can be overcome. The first 5 minutes of the second half will define the game at this point.

Baylor came out on fire, but the Zags somehow are within 10 points...

should be a good second half...

Baylor shot 50%, Zags 55%. But Baylor killed them on the boards.

Just stop the 3 pointer. 7/12 Baylor and 1/6 Gonzaga. That’s a big difference right now.

I’ve seen Gonzaga come back to my BYU when BYU controlled the first half of the game. I’m
definitely not counting them out until it’s zero seconds.

Baylor coming out fast again. Kenny Smith was right, Baylor went to Athletes-R-Us to get these guys.

Sometimes it's just not your night.

Zags getting absolutely demolished in the 3 point war. Baylor brought their A game at the right time. They look good.
