Former swedish hockey player in police custody
A disturbing piece of news surfacing here in Sweden today, as a former hockey player is in police custody on suspicion of several accounts of spousal abuse.

The article is in swedish and does not mention the suspect by name, but official court documents have revealed the identity to be former Flames player Kristian Huselius.
Huselius was also a suspect in a rape case back in 2005.

Sorry about that, didn't consider that. I usually don't start threads so I wasn't very comfortable about it, but I just figured it was kind of a newsworthy story here on CP.

This isn't a one time incident of domestic violence either, according to the prosecutor in this case the abuse that is being alleged here has carried on for a period of 5 months and sounds particularly heinous.
Now to be clear these are currently only accusations at this stage and Huselius has not been convicted of any crime at this time, and as you would expect his attorney has come forward and issued a complete denial of his involvement in this situation.
"My client's position is clear, he denies crimes," said lawyer Slobodan Jovicic.
