Dube has 4 assists since being assigned to Stockton. Not bad!

We really need the 2015 and 2016 drafts to save us. The 2013 and 2014 drafts really flopped hard.

C'mon Dube and Mangiapane. Andersson and Kylington. Save the Flames with depth scoring.

Tucson beat San Diego, and the Stockton game is all but over

Unfortunately, San Jose went on a late run and now the winner of the San Jose/Stockton game will make the playoffs if San Diego loses again tomorrow in regulation

Hopefully the Heat can get it done tomorrow

Add Phillips and Fox from those drafts too.

With the amount of Heat players called up this season especially at the end of the season I'm shocked they even have a chance to make the playoffs. Pretty impressive.

4 points in 5 games for Dube is pretty impressive, he's my dark horse to make the team next year. Could use his energy.

What's up with Klimchuk? I assume some sort of injury as by all accounts he was playing quite well down the stretch.

Poirier can still save the 2013 draft. And Klimchuk could become a role player, though I doubt it, personally.

I doubt it but you never know, and honestly damage is already being done. We did miss the playoffs this season mainly due to a lack of depth scoring.

AHL web site is down so can't see the stats as they update, but from twitter:

@AHLHeat
Down 2-1 with 11:15 to play. Need more goals, need more goals #STKvsSJ

If the Tucson/San Diego game holds up, the winner between Stockton and San Jose makes the playoffs.

Very close to making the playoffs, a bit sad to miss by one game. We have some NHL ready talent though on that team. Wotherspoon and Anderson are one hell of an AHL pairing though, wouldnt mind seeing them kept together as our bottom pairing next year.

New AHL alignment for next season has been announced...

The Colorado Eagles move from the ECHL to the AHL, where they will be the Avalanche's affiliate. The two Texas-based teams move to the Central Division and Colorado joins the Pacific. With the addition of Colorado, the affiliation for San Antonio will switch to the St Louis Blues.

Beyond that, it appears there won't be any additional franchise relocations or affiliate changes next season.

I hope this realignment means that all the Pacific teams will now have the same reduced number of games, so we won't have to worry about points percentage for determining playoff positioning.

Since there's no generic AHL thread, I'll just post this here.

Tonight in Charlotte NC, the Flyers and Hurricanes' AHL affiliates are playing game 4 of their second round series. The game is tied 1-1 and about to start its 5th overtime. The last goal was scored at 6:52 of the second period.

Alex Lyon has made 88 saves in the game for Lehigh Valley.

Just under 7 minutes into the 5th OT, Lehigh Valley scores to win it. Lyon ended the game with 94 saves.

Wow, I am bagged after playing a single game. The fact that those players were able to battle through playing essentially 3 straight games in a day is absolutely insane! Can't imagine going through that only to lose in the end though.

Anyone else see the AHL refs just blow it?

They called a goal and the puck didn't even cross the line

Any news on whether any of Tuulola, Lindstrom or Sveningsson are coming over to play on the Heat next season?
