Yah unless you could stand somewhere and see the ice.

I think they did a limited amount of tickets (based on fire code)for their molson party for the little area outside the arena. They were free though.

No way this happens in Calgary. No way this happens in any other NHL market currently? More than 1/3 tv's showing the game?! Am I missing something or does that not seem astronomically high?

I think Winnipeg/Manitoba were higher market share for jets games. But yeah, I can’t imagine many markets getting that high.

Vegas was starved for pro sports and such a great story their first season has really caught the attention of the city.

Concourse Passes will allow access to both the Main concourse and Upper concourse but do not include a seat or a view of the ice surface. Purchasers of Concourse Passes will be able to view the game on the many screens located around the concourses, including a number of large video walls.

...

Concourse Passes are $80.00 each and payable via credit card. Passes are non-transferable and fans must enter Rogers Place immediately upon purchase. No re-entry or resale of passes is permitted.

Surely that's for the whole playoffs, I mean that can't be per game? I just can't imagine a reality where they're charging that per game.

It was per game. But it was never talked about after the announcement as far as I remember. I don’t know if anyone actually bought any. I sure as heck know I never would.

They sold between 200-250. Seat holders were pissed, because of the extra strain it put on facilities at intermission.

Maybe we see the lower bowl filled with the who's who of Hollywood and sports world just like May-Pac and May-Mac.
