Canada guaranteed at least one medal because one of the three is also Canadian.

Silver!

Too bad for Naude, she seemed like she came out too aggressive

MEDAL ALERT!! Justine Dufour-Lapointe wins Silver in Women's Freestyle Skiing Moguls. Andi Naude with the horror of her life in the final run.

Updated Medal Count: Gold: 0 Silver: 3 Bronze: 1

Another disappointing result for Canada as Naude and Dufour-Lapointe both should've made the podium. Two events now in which the Gold was ours to lose and we did.

These Russian hockey jerseys are so dumb looking, part of a fitting punishment I suppose.

To anyone in Calgary, head over to The Dutch Store some day. It’s a great little shop and you can chat with his family and friends. They’ve also got the chocolate sprinkles he raves about.

It is a great shop. I get a gift package with the sprinkles and a couple of other things from there from my Oma every Christmas.

Not sold on Island. I think Chen will come back strong.

I love this team figure skating event though. Lots of fun.
Why are the Russians even allowed to compete in the team event?

The entire country was banned from the games. Then they backed off and allowed the athletes to compete under a neutral banner. Fine (not really). But allowing them to compete as a group (i.e. Russia) in team competitions completely eliminates the point of the ban and any minuscule hope of an impact that they were attempting to accomplish from it.

Prob because Putin threatened to meddle in the next IOC election.

Disappointing result in the moguls with Canada only taking silver and the Aussies finishing 4th and 5th.

Also, I'm very disappointed in the Australian media. Leading up to the event all we heard about was Britt Cox over and over and over again with zero time spent on the other competitors. It would have been nice if they spent a minute on Jakara Anthony considering she finished 4th, one spot ahead of Cox.
