Another frustrating game as a Stamps fan. It's the same old story, they lose most battles along both lines. Whoever plays QB doesn't really matter until they fix this issue.
Offense starts well, hits a wall only to come alive late but then the defense can't make a stop.
I liked Shiltz, not as a starting QB but as a good backup. His willingness and ability to use his legs is something that this team hasn't had in a long time.

I've been cheering for losses for the past 6-7 games until they fire Dickenson.

DD and Maier need to go. Start with a new coach/GM and find a decent QB that run out of the pocket and make plays.

And I think they make significant changes. He will be out as HC and GM. All of the coordinators will also be let go and then we see major roster changes.

The problem with Dave staying on as head coach is that he will bring back the same coordinators and quite frankly, the Stamps coordinators are below average. Defence has mostly been mediocre under Monson and as long as Dave has his fingers in the offense it's going to be the same paint by numbers, vanilla offense that defensive coordinators around the league have blueprints of when to sit on short routes and screen passes. Things are really, really stale and I would actually prefer if Dickenson went GM full time to get him off the sidelines as the team needs a new approach in the locker room and a brand new offensive scheme. I don't care if Killam gets the nod as it's not like the team can do any worse than last overall.

Yeah, I like DD, but the last two years have been unacceptable and it's time for a change. How big of a change is up for debate, but at a minimum DD should not be brought back as head coach next season.
I also think Rick Campbell's tenure as head coach of the Lions is on shaky ground, Amar Doman spends big bucks to bring on both Mathieu Betts and Nathan Rourke and he's not even going to see a home playoff game. The Lions being in the playoffs is testament to how bad both the Elks and Stamps have been this season.

It's just been a mediocre season and I think some of this has to do with the lack of continuity on rosters with so many players becoming free agents every year. What's even the point of buying player jerseys anymore?

Great looking opening drive, Shiltz throws a terrible interception and Bo marches Hamilton easily down the field for a TD, lol.
A loss tonight guarantees us the first overall pick at least.
