Nice goal from Point. I haven't watched a lot of Tampa, but I think Dube reminds me a little bit of Point.
Smaller, but a little gritty, has some good speed and isn't afraid to take it to the net. Dube has a long way to go to reach that level, but I think he could provide something similar for us.

I've thought the exact same thing.

What a dumb penalty to take. Was he trying to draw something by making it seem like the Tampa guy had his stick dug in?

Another power play goal, this time by the Lightning and it is 2-1 Tampa Bay. Hedman with a terrific slap shot.

Just saw the Point goal. That was sweet.

As mentioned, I too can see the Dube comparison.

Why didn't the Islanders start Varlamov?

The Islanders are just getting taken to the woodshed here.

Wow. Filthy passing play by Kucherov.

Reminder - they are doing this without Stamkos.

Do these Lightning have a single weak link up front?

Point
Kucherov
Johnson
Palat
Cirelli
Gourde
Killorn
Coleman
Goodrow
Maroon
Paquette

Just a ridiculously deep team. And they're missing Stamkos.
