An online rape club where young men allegedly film themselves having group sex with underage girls after getting them black-out drunk is under investigation in New Zealand.

One titled Roast Busters Appreciation Page described their page as:
"Appreciating the roast busters, putting b--ches in their place since ages ago. Outing the sluts giving them the treatment they deserve. Any sluts keen to get put on the spit or ganged feel free to comment everyone loves a good slut."
A sick so-called game known as "knockout" -- where teens randomly sucker-punch strangers with the goal of knocking them unconscious with a single blow -- is catching the attention of law enforcement throughout the nation.
"Knockout" can be fatal. In New Jersey, Ralph Santiago, 46, a homeless man, was walking alone in Hoboken on the night of September 10 when he was suddenly struck from behind, said Hoboken Detective Anthony Caruso.
The blow knocked out Santiago, who had a pre-existing brain injury. He suffered a seizure. The victim's body struck a nearby fence, with part of the wrought iron fence piercing his body and killing him, Caruso said.
Different situations in my life recently (in addition to my neighbor and the talking bird/property destruction/etc) led me to Martha Stout's book.
I obviously don't live in Canada, and I know you guys aren't perfect. But just read the above book excerpt to see what I feel is one of the main differences in our cultures.
It seem like you have a more interconnected culture than we do here.
Of course I'm just generalizing, but as stated in the link it's like encouraging individualism has morphed into encouraging treachery.
Ranprieur's blog does have some interesting links, etc.
At first I thought it was a real flakey site as he does goes in to a bit of the paranormal crap. Some other stuff of interest, though.

KOLKATA, India — A 20-year-old Indian woman said she was gang-raped on the orders of a village council because she fell in love with a man from a different ethnic group, police said Thursday.
Twelve suspects and the head of the council have been arrested for the Monday night attack, police said. The woman told police that she lost count of how many men raped her. She was hospitalized Thursday in serious condition.
TV news reports said the woman is a member of an ethnic tribal group and the man is a Muslim from a neighboring village. The man visited the woman’s village, Subalpur, on Monday to propose marriage, but was caught by other villagers, and the man and woman were tied to a tree while the village council decided their fate, the reports said.
Police official C. Sudhakar said the village council ordered the man and woman to each pay a fine of 25,000 rupees ($400). The man’s family was able to pay, but when the woman’s family said they were too poor, the council ordered the gang rape, police said.
Geocentrism? A new documentary film narrated by Kate Mulgrew, who played Captain Kathryn Janeway on “Star Trek: Voyager,” claims the sun revolves around the Earth, and that the Earth is fixed at the center of the universe.
The film’s ultra conservative Catholic producer believes the early leaders of the Catholic Church, who interpreted the Bible to mandate an Earth-centered universe, were right after all.
Quote:
Geocentrism is creationism on steroids, and is often attributed to a literal reading of the Bible.
Perhaps even more disturbing than the iconic Kate Mulgrew, of Star Trek: Voyager and Orange Is the New Black, the film also features appearances by big-name scientists like Michio Kaku and Lawrence Krauss.
Lawrence recently posted on their FB page that they of course edited him for the benefit of the film, looool, I can't believe people believe this nonsense.
Location: Close enough to make a beer run during a TV timeout

That Asian dude with the long white hair- I also think they have used snips of his previous shows in this trailer. I'm positive I heard him say that "If we are the only life in the Universe, then God made a mistake" before. In the context of how extremely unlikely it was that we were the only life.
I think it may have also been the one where they talked about the possibility of life on Europa; one of Jupiter's moons.
“I understand there has been some controversy about my participation in a documentary called The Principle,” Mulgrew writes in a note on her official Facebook page. “Let me assure everyone that I completely agree with the eminent physicist Lawrence Krauss, who was himself misrepresented in the film, and who has written a succinct rebuttal in Slate. I am not a geocentrist, nor am I in any way a proponent of geocentrism. More importantly, I do not subscribe to anything Robert Sungenis has written regarding science and history and, had I known of his involvement, would most certainly have avoided this documentary. I was a voice for hire, and a misinformed one, at that. I apologize for any confusion that my voice on this trailer may have caused.”
What I'd really like to know is what kind of person gives half of a rat's ass whether or not Kate Mulgrew believes and/or is a proponent of Geocentrism.
What possible affect could it have on anyone's lives? If you're determining your scientific or life views by shadowing Kate Mulgrew you've got bigger problems.

The second question I have after, what the holy #### is wrong with that guy, is wouldn't his tongue eventually dry out being exposed to the air like that?

That has to be fake. He would have an infection in like 2 seconds.
