Thankfully it’s a fan looking past the opponent not the players.

So win Sunday and regardless of whatever any other team does the rest of the season, we clinch the Western Conference title. I kinda hope San Jose wins tomorrow so Sunday's game will mean something. Though part of me wants to see San Jose start on the road in the playoffs.

Before I'm convinced he's healthy I want to see Monahan rip a wrist shot

- Flames snap out of their slump. Check.
- Monahan snaps out of his slump in a big way. Check.
- Flames destroy the hated Ducks. Check.
But seriously, great to see Moneyhands have a good game. I was hoping he would hit 40/40 this year, and to hit 80 points is great. Hopefully he can build off this game and the Flames can wrap up the conference in the next game.

Some takeaways:
-Glad to see Monahan break out of his slump
-I am not a big Smith fan, but he is starting to look good again.
-Brodie is a really good 5-6 Dman, and we should keep him there.
-it might have been the 8+ beers but I am pretty sure Hathaway was offsides way before he got his goal...
Regardless great game for the Flames, we pretty much have first locked up so I hope we rest anyone who is even a little banged up
|
No. The Ducks brought the puck back into their own zone. It’s only offside if your own team brings it in.

Great game from Monahan. I had a feeling he would have a good game and he didn’t disappoint. Most engaged I’ve seen him in quite awhile. Neal had a good game as well. Hopefully a sign of things to come with him.

I really wish people would stop taking what Cassie Campbell says to heart.
Look at the stats Hanifin had the most ice time then Brodie and then Hamonic.
Brodie had more ice time than Gio , your boy Andersson and Prout.

They did, but he did go through his first draft year undrafted, so almost?.

The 05-06 team employed Cale Hulse. I prefer today Prout to him.

Cale Hulse is on that list.
I loved Babchuk as a kid so he escapes the list but yeah he wasn't great
Jokipakka was mediocre. Great name. But I think Prout is better at hockey.

Man, it's no wonder the Flames missed the playoffs so many times over this stretch. Yuck!

Lifetime Suspension

Was at the game so I looked at Monahan during warm up. He was doing one timers and looked fine. So maybe he isn't injured. It really showed in the first, he was battling hard and led the way.
4 points by the end of the night. Not bad.
The whole team played well. Had a few off shifts in the first, but really took over in the second. Excellent game.
