I am itching to see if the Flames sign Ramage.

I used to think it was a no brainer, but after Weisbrod's comments combined with them opting not to sign Leach, I am not so sure.

Will be interesting.

I think what's most likely is that he'll sign to a PTO if his team is eliminated soon. He'll practice with the team for a couple of weeks and if Ward feels someone isn't playing well, he'll put Ramage in.

Then in the offseason it will be interesting to see what Feaster does with him.

Apparently Providence is down 2-1 in the second. But Gilles has an assist on the lone Friars goal and has his first assist of college hockey. I guess the Providence's best defensive player can even chip in offensively every once and a while.

Undrafted sophomore Matt Willows scored a hat-trick for UNH this afternoon to beat Providence 4-1.

Jankowski had three shots on net and was a -2. Gillies didn't have a very good game. He only stopped 16 of 19.

Oh well, do or die tomorrow.

Not Hockey East, but Quinnipiac is beating Cornell 9-0 after 2. After they lost to Cornell 3-2 last night.

Gaudreau with a goal and an assist about midway through the third period. Arnold with an assist on Gaudreau's goal.

Seems like those two have some pretty decent chemistry since they've been put on the same line.

U-Mass Lowell and BC have advanced. BU is leading and plays BC if they win. PC's series goes to Sunday.

BU seems to always put up a good fight against BC. That'll be an awesome series to follow.

How long before DeKeyser signs with an NHL team now that his team is out? Let the bidding war begin!

It would be a great pick up for the flames. I heard that the Lightning and Red wings really want him also.

I expect him to be a Red Wing. The Flames should go after Laganiere and Sustr.

Based on my conversations with NHL clubs, consensus top 3 college free agents are: DeKeyser, D, WMU; Sustr, D, UNO; Laganiere, RW, Yale.

Sounds like the divers are in on Laganiere and Sustr. Laganiere attended the Canucks prospect summer camp in 2011.

Quote:
Lain isn’t the only college free agent the Canucks are chasing. They are in on Western Michigan defenceman Dan DeKeyser, who most think is going to either Tampa or Detroit.

They’re interested in Andrej Sustr, the Zdeno Chara-sized blueliner from Nebraska-Omaha.
And there’s Antoine Laganiere who goes to Yale. That school alone is enough right there to make the Canucks swoon. But at 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, he already looks like a pro.

This is why both GM Mike Gillis and Gilman flew east earlier this year to see him. You remember, the same trip many had assumed was about Roberto Luongo when Gillis and Gilman showed up at a Washington Capitals games.
Laganiere took part in the Canucks prospects camp in 2011, and last year participated in development camps with Pittsburgh and Edmonton.

PC GOAL: Jankowski passed backwards to Schaller, who passed it back across to him for the open shot right in front by DeSmith. 1-0 PC @ 1:31

That initial pass from Jankowski back to Schaller was a beauty.
