Has Portia de Rossi had work done? She looks so different...

Also, I think in the scenes where she has long blonde hair, she's wearing a wig, which may have been a factor in changing her appearance. I think she looks much better in the scenes after she cuts her hair.
Botox might be at work along the way too.

Really? Two more seasons or one and a movie? Confirmed? I'd be down for that, since I'd assume budget and scheduling would be ironed out.
I don't think they know. All I've heard from Hurwitz is that the reason they didn't do a movie right away is because he couldn't figure out a way to tell the story of what happened in the last 6 years effectivly. Acts 2-3 still to come one way or another. Maybe?

After new episodes of Arrested Development surpassed expectations, Netflix is considering signing the show for another season. "We are in conversations with [Netflix] to do another," Brian Grazer said.
Any Arrested Developement is better than nothing but this new season was definately a step below the originals. I like others also wasn't a fan of the episodes focusing on a single character. The best part of the original was how there were multiple storylines going on every episode and it's just too much to sit through over 30 minutes of focus on a single character.
Also I thought the show was best when George was in prison and doing a smaller role. Maybe I'm in the minority but the Oscar/George thing got old in the original series and I groaned when I had to sit through the George episodes as I think his character is the weak link of the series. I simply don't find his character that funny or appealing. I hope they get back to the original format.

Would you like a banger in the mouth? Oh I forgot here in the Colonies you call it a Sausage in the Mouth!
We just call it a sausage.

So after constantly being told to watch Arrested Development due to my being a fan of Community, I'm halfway through season 1 and I have yet to fall in love with the show.

Does it pick up?
I was in the same position as you, and yes stick with it. I do not like the new season that much, but by the end of season 1 it really hits its stride.
Just finished up season 4, overall I was just happy to have new episodes, but I agree with many that the single character view point is horrible. Gob's episode was the only one that had me really laughing.
It takes a bit to shake off the cob webs after a 7 or 8 year hiatus, so lets hope that the next season they get back to their roots a bit more.

Alright. It is getting better already. I was just expecting to be hooked instantly like with Community. I need more comedies to watch though so I'll keep going.

I actually found the first season of Community quite slow. It wasn't until the paintball episode that I was completely hooked. However I remember getting hooked instantly with AD because of the characters, when Gob said "Illusions Dad, you don't have time for my illusions!" I knew this was a show I had to keep watching
