I have had long enough layover in Denver and Chicago to catch the better part of some games, even a full one once .

Taking some of the touchpoints of an amazing dining experience in the Saddledome (LOL wut?) and brought it into YYC...key touchpoints, we've got photos of some star players from the old days, we've got, uh, the C everywhere, uhm, it's really gonna be an incredible dinning experience.

So you are bringing the dining experience of an arena, which everyone generally acknowledges is awful, and put up a few photos and some C's on the ceiling. And that's about it? The video doesn't show anything else, and he doesn't mention it. Looks like a pretty weak effort to me. Job done, Neil! Wait, his name is Neil? Oh. Oh no.

I think it is on Concourse A at the end on the left? I seem to remember renovations happening to the restaurant area last time I was there.

It's not on the YYC map yet, but when it was announced in June, the press release said it would be located near Gate A15.

I was going to say that if it was in the US departure area, it’s silly to suggest people can watch the games there because the last flights out are around 7 pm to Seattle

Still, I wouldn’t expect them to get too many people sticking around for much of any Flames games.

Most of the flights out after 8 pm are mainly the Western Canada regional flights. There are multiple to a lot of these cities, so I don’t anticipate many long layovers that would accommodate seeing much of the game, if people are connecting.

The longer flights I can think of would be Whitehorse and Yellowknife, plus red eyes to Halifax and Toronto.

(There are also Dublin and London flights, which go from D concourse.)

I’m sure they will have football and some NHL eastern games, but the Flames schedule, and the nature of air travel in an airport that isn’t a major hub, doesn’t really lend itself to ‘catching all of the Flames action’
