I especially like the 1 star reviews that are actually glowing but they screwed up on picking the stars. Sometimes followed by a reply by the owner “thanks for the kind words, but did you really mean to only put one star?”

Thank you all so much!

Yes Google Reviews are super challenging and frustrating at times. Like others pointed out the couple of negative ones we received were really frustrating either not related or were positive about the food but didn't enjoy the wait while we were slammed. And it's very true, while they may not "matter" they do harm a small business a lot and I was thankful to see people start giving reviews to offset the negative ones because I know the challenge at times is people genuinely like the food but simply don't go out of their way to leave a review.

Your guy's support, especially the CP community means the world to us. Please do come down and try us out, I'm confident you're going to really enjoy the food!

Very noble, but how can you afford to donate 25% of sales? Margins on food are tight?

I had to read it twice, but I think it was for only one day.

I forgot to post, have since been twice since and the food is great. Burger King's Impossible Whopper is a favorite of mine but what I've tried at Odd Burger is definitely going to squeeze into the rotation when I'm in the area. The fries are very good as well.

I didn't realize there was parking in the back of the building, makes it much easier to swing by.

Should probably go in the coming days before the year is up, before a wait exists...

Just saw a location opening up by me in Vancouver.
Are yoi guys involved in that or just franchise owners in Calgary?

Hey all,

Really want to say thanks to everyone who supported us from the very beginning when we opened up over a year ago.

Things just did not pan out the way we would have hoped or expected to, so yes I can confirm since it's been widely speculated now for some time that my wife and I are no longer the franchisees for the Calgary location.

I know owning and operating a restaurant is a tough gig, especially for a new, not-well-known franchise.

Good luck on your next endeavors.
