Default Visual Basic Express Question
So I'm taking BASIC programming at MRC, and we have the option to work from home if we download VB express 2005.

Unfortunately I can only find the newer 2008 on microsoft's site.

Does anyone know where I can download 05 express, hopefully without the hassle of torrenting.

2008 isn't much different than 2005. I would just get that, myself.

I wish I could, but my prof told us that we strictly have to use 2005 because he can't open 2008 to mark.

Doesn't look like they're offering it anymore.

How long is the course? They still have a 90 day evaluation of Visual Studio 2005 Pro.

Other than that, you can try FTPing into MS, or just looking for it on a torrent site or whatever. It's a free product, so it's not illegal to get it from where you can get it from.

I found it. Simply typed in "Visual Basic 2005 download" into google and eventually I found it.
