I know it's been mentioned, but the ignore feature really is the way to go.

And I know that you see the post anyway when a person on your ignore list is responded to, I can say EVERYTIME I read that quoted post, I laugh as it really confirms why they are on that list.

It's getting a workout in this thread, that's for sure. People arguing about a guy saying goodbye, this is peak CP right now

Amen... and I have relatively few people on ignore, maybe 5 in total. Makes an enormous difference if you pick the right ones.

It’s called the Wall of Shame and it’s explicitly modelled after the ATL which we use to ridicule opinions and fanbases that we think are stupid. I can’t understand the difficulty seeing why this might be divisive when used inside of a Flames fan community where we’re all supposed to be on the same team.

Maybe if it was called something else like I dunno, “GT Emotional Rollercoaster” there’s a chance it might have worked out a bit better, though still not a great idea.

Then again, there are a bunch of people calling that the problem… but only when everyone else does it. So maybe it’s time to take MY advice and evaluate how seriously you’re taking interactions on here… and then take them less seriously than that.

So this is your justification because you feel entitled to be able to constantly bully posters on here? The problem with CP is it has posters like yourself and Nik who are on here for the sole purpose of degrading others and being a sarcastic ass. It drives posters away. Here is a bold idea, try having positive interactions with fellow Flame fans instead of trying to stir the pot or put someone down all the time.

Imagine a world where people were passionate about causes much more consequential than who dissed who on a message board.

When I think of the greatest posters in the past and the present, there is usually an element of kindness in them...unless you severely pizz them off and then you better duck for cover.

Another poster who was banned and let back and it was a mistake. The guy is a toxic ass who still constantly breaks the rules. He can't even post in a thread where a contributing member is leaving and explaining why without bullying him. Yes, we all need to be better if this place is a fun place for all but posters like this make it impossible.

There was some good discussion earlier but this thread is getting sidetracked.
