The Flames can only score when the officials screw up. In an honest game they would have had no chance.

First goal, they scored 5-on-3, when everybody knows the refs intended to make it 4-on-4 as usual. Called the wrong guy.

Second goal, the refs inexplicably forgot that there are no shootouts in the playoffs.

Third goal, the refs let the Flames play at even strength instead of giving Dallas the PP. They were supposed to call a penalty for something or other on that one.

Fourth goal, Backlund was allowed out of the penalty box for no better reason than that his 2 minutes were up. If he had only been ejected from the game, he wouldn't have had the opportunity.

Anyway, it is obviously impossible for the Flames to do this two more times!

Awesome game. Wish they would have been rewarded in the first period, because I thought that was the best one. Most of the series has been 0-0 or 1-0 either way.

We all wanted Sutter hockey and this is it, for better or for worse. They're playing it perfectly. Just win. Go Flames Go!

Did you know, every series during the '04 run was 2-2 after 4 games?

Best-of-3 now, with home ice regained.

Playoff hockey's so stressful, glad this one ended with a win.

Benn's a weirdo. He looked like he was suffering from withdrawals in his interview with Oake earlier in the series and now has this weird fascination with Tkachuk

Whew... that was way too tense, even with the 2 goal lead. I was worried all those penalties would somehow bite us in the arse at the end there.

Outstanding job by the Flames to close this out. That was by far their most dominant performance in the series so far, and they finally looked like the Flames we've been watching all season.

Play the exact same way going forward, and I can't see how we lose this series. Hopefully Oettinger's confidence has been rattled a bit and the Flames can pump him for multiple goals again in game 5.

Flames really opened up it. I feel like they decided they couldn’t beat Dallas in a low scoring defense fest but figured if they played open hockey they would get the majority of the chances.

They still didn’t get a single friggin bounce, but that was a dominating performance when they needed it the most. Middle six can score a goal at some point, would be nice.

Jamie Benn won't be happy about this.
