Djoker owes Felix a gift basket for that favour.
I’m feeling way better about FAA’s progression now though. Charlitos might not have it super easy for the next decade after all.

I'm just hoping it carries over to the grass. That should be his best surface.

I'm not even mad. Disappointed for Felix, but what a great effort today.

Yeah taking two sets from Nadal on clay is not easy. That’s 6% of all the sets he’s ever lost at Roland Garros.
Impressive match from Felix.

On the men's side, this could be the first time in history where the top 8 seeds all make the quarter-finals. Tsitispas, Rublev, and Medvedev all need to win their matches today to make that happen (Ruud has already done his part).

By the way, Rafa vs. Novak will be at night on Tuesday. That's advantage Djokovic.

both Rafa and Chuck mentioned yesterday they wanted the day session. looks like Chucky's getting his wish. I don't think Rafa had much chance of being the first match since it's Rafole CLXXVI or whatever.

Yup, trying to set up an all-Scandinavian battle against Norwegian Casper Ruud. Greek Yogurt will need to win in five sets to advance.

Rune up a break in set 4. Let's see if the 19 year old can close it out.
Edit: Passes the first test by consolidating the break.

Rune up a double-break in set 4. The yogurt has curdled.
Edit: Tsitsipas breaks right back
Edit 2: Rune serving for the match at 5-4 as Tsitsipas has won the last eight points.

Starting to think there is some magic in that Babolat Pure Aero VS frame as both Alcaraz and Rune use that stick.
/Felix also uses that frame (an older version but for some strange reason it's painted to look like the regular Pure Aero).

Quiwen Zheng is on serve versus The Iga in the opening set. She certainly can mash the ball.
Edit: The Iga just looks to be too strong and consistent, however.

Zheng just broke The Iga who was serving for the opening set. Just doesn't look like the same player today who has been steam-rolling all her opponents of late.
Edit: It's 5-5 in the opening set. Getting five games in a set against Swiatek is certainly an accomplishment these days.

First set tie-break needed between Swiatek and Zheng.
