That is jumping to a conclusion. Absence from morning skate could also mean injury related.

I'd be curious why Coleman isn't RW and Mangi isn't LW. That is their natural positions but we utilize them the opposite side. Considering Mangi is successful on his opposite side, I'd love to see what he could do on his natural side and also Coleman as well.

Yea I don’t think he’d be sitting or benched for that which is unfortunate because it leads me to think it’s injury related. hopefully all is ok with Kylington, he’s been unreal!

Again?

He was a healthy scratch in game two this season and never since.

Assuming he's banged up and not in the dog house.

Plus he is leading the team in scoring so his leash extends to the off-leash dog park (hopefully)

Him not being on the ice at all means that it's likely more injury related than being a healthy scratch.

We are seeing the adage that you start playing poorly first, and then the losses follow a couple of games later. I don't think Flames have played their best hockey on this trip and that manifested in getting outplayed badly in Vegas.

That will happen to every team in the league. So I am very curious as to how long this trend will last. A big bounce back game tonight would be very telling IMO.

And then , a day off and another 4 in 6 nights, finishing with back to back on the road.

As tough a first half schedule as I have ever seen.

Good news is the second half.

Flames had a tough game in Vegas

LA and Anaheim they had their 2nd and 3rd most high danger chances of any game this season...good goalies and posts keep those games close but they could have been blowouts in the Flames favor IMO.

I really don't mind Lucic with Monahan - they play at the same pace. and that said, Dube has played well with Lucic before too.

Both Coleman and Mangiapane are natural LW, though Coleman is actually listed as a C on some sites. Coleman though, has more experience at RW I daresay.

LA they were good both offensively and defensively

Anaheim they still had a good game offensively, but gave up a lot defensively especially on the rush.

Vegas they were just bad.
