Lupul is one of the very best forwards in hockey. I can't believe the Leafs got him as a salary dump.
Brilliant trade by Burke.

Buffalo is awful.
I know its early, but even if the Flames end up having a terrible year there are some brutal teams out there and the Flames may not got a top 3 pick or even top 5.
2-0 Canucks.
Shots are 26-9.

Man, the Flyers look terrible. The Penguins are just tossing the puck around at will 5-on-5.

Annnnd there's another one from right infront of the net, J. Schultz caught in no-mans land again, covering no one.
Got a piece of the pass, but, otherwise, not covering anyone.

Seems like a pretty dirty player in general, especially with that attempted MMA takedown a couple games ago. That's how guys get their head busted open on the ice.

No he is not.
Why does everything with the Leafs have to be so over the top with you?
The Leafs hate is bad enough on here without a Leafs fan here overrating everything about the Leafs making the mainly false generalizations about Leafs fans/media overrating every Leaf player.

Hall's goal 8 seconds apart breaks one of Wayne's records. Likely worth two episodes for Oilchange and some pregame ceremony where the Oilers can dust off some old 80's Betamax.

Ben Bishop is a pretty good goaltender. Just stopped at least 5 good Wild shots within 30 seconds or so.

Apparently Sportsnet thinks McDavid is 2014 draft eligible.

Shots are 35-22 for the Islanders with 9 minutes left in the third.
Shots in the third period so far at 10-1 for the Islanders.

Yakupov looks terrible.
Edit: same sort of sad sack demeanor j. schultz shows in the defensive end. Uninterested in being the first to the puck, uninterested in being the first guy back, uninterested in skating hard to the bench on a linechange.
Had a shift earlier, charging down the wing on a partial 2-1 break with Nuge. Ended up stickhandling it into the defender and backchecking third man rather than throw it on net or in front to Hopkins. Screams "I want to score", not "I want the team to score."
