It's really weird because we've never had this happen here ever.

Rookies typically report around the 2nd week of September and preseason games start around Sept 20th.
Gives them roughly 3 months to fix the damage... as to if it will be enough depends on the extent of the damage.

It didn't take them that long to put the extra dressing rooms in for the world juniors thing, so I'm sure a temp room(s) could be made by then.

According to several reports, the water is up to the 10th row of seats in the NHL arena while the dressing rooms are completely submerged and the Jumbotron and other equipment resting on the arena floor has been ruined.

so if that's right about the jumbotron being on the ground... that's going to suck

I am more concerned about the ice plant and whether it needs to be replaced.

So where's the PUCKS system and all that fancy video equipment Feaster loves talking about located?
Is that all safe?
Would really suck if they lost all their data leading up to the draft.

Amazing when you consider there are only 13 rows in lower bowl!

It's bad yes, but not as bad as many disaster stories we hear from other parts where they do get out the valuables, but forget the people.

Because it's never flooded this bad before? Not to mention that would be a ton of work

Well, since the town has never seen flooding this bad (modern era) and it has never touched the Dome before. They probably thought they would be good. This thing came fast...we are in scramble mode here.
Not every frikkin thing has to be someone's fault or about incompetence.
