This afternoon's win puts the red snake 6.195 points above the black line, 40 points above the orange snake, and 9 points above the purple snake. This is the 14th game in a row the red snake has finished above the black line and it is guaranteed at minimum of 5 more games. The minimum 19 games breaks the orange snake's consecutive game record. A record of 25-23-0 (0.521 point percentage) in the remaining 48 games would give the red snake 96 points. It is currently on pace for 111 points. At this point last year only Tampa Bay and Vegas had snakes that would be above the current red snake.

With the way the Flames are going, we almost need a chart that just has the top 5 or so teams in the league on it. Would be fun to track the jostling at the top between the Flames, Jets, Nashville, Toronto, Tampa and the Sabres.

All three snakes were in action tonight. Just like Christmas, red and green were on the rise, while the blue continued its drop.
Although they have all played a different number of games the blue snake has 39 points, the green snake has 40 points, while the red snake has 49 points. The red snake is 4.512 points above the black line, the blue snake is 4.317 points below the black line, while the green snake is 6.829 points below the black line.
