What team in the league has a right side D group that can survive a game with a rolling LW group of Gaudreau-Mangiapane-Hall-Lucic (as shown above)?

The guy did it to himself after he got 13pts! I’d be trying for a 1 yr 1.75M prove me contract.

13 points in half a season... and he wasn't scoring for the first 15 games of it.

Mangiapane seemed like the only guy putting up numbers the last two months of last year. He was getting better and better this year too, before the shut-down.

Mango absolutely deserves something around 4 or 5 years x $3 million. That would take him until he's 28 or 29, perfect age to get a nice UFA deal somewhere.

I'd be thrilled to see Mangiapane get the Rasmus Andersson surprise long-term deal.

I figured he'll get what Sam Bennett is getting $2.55M, probably around 4 years

Which should be the max.

He may not want to go 4 years and instead take 7.5-8 over 3, but if he wants more per year he can take it to arbitration where i doubt he gets a dollar over the Bennett money.

Career production averages are almost identical, ages are similar etc.

Clearly AM has more offensive prowess than Bennett and was well on his way to proving that this season. However, he is also strictly a winger, undersized, and provides little else where as SB at least can bang and crash at times.

If either one of them could PK or even be more than filler on the PP, it would boost their value a bit.

Is it? 2 of the first 6 names on the list aren't going to be free agents this year (Rantanen and Nugent-Hopkins).
